Day 1 :
MUSAFAHA ADVENTURE TOURISM (MAT) will pick up guests from LAHORE at 06:00 AM to start this beautiful journey towards our first destination PABBI RASUL RESERVE FOREST. Actually, there are two reserved forests namely Pabbi Reserve Forest and Rasul Reserve Forest. They are jointly called Pabbi Rasul Reserve Forest. The project has been prepared for the provision of facilities and essentialities in the newly notified Pabbi National Park for the visitors and nature lovers, especially the youth of the adjoining Districts as well as the enthusiasts traveling along the G.T Road from Lahore to Rawalpindi and vice versa. The Project is directly related to the Scope of the Forestry and Wildlife Sector as it aims at the development of natural resources, the conservation and enrichment of flora/fauna, and the provision of recreational facilities; the overall Scope will be the improvement of the natural environment. The conservation of the climax flora of Pabbi Rasul Forest Reserve / Pabbi National Park shall have an impact on the climate changes being faced in the country through resilience and mitigation activities. After visiting this beautiful forest reserve we will continue our journey towards our next destination MANGLA DAM/MANGLA RESORT. The Mangla Dam is a multipurpose dam situated on the Jhelum River in the Mirpur District of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. It is the sixth-largest dam in the world. Lunch served to MAT guests Biryani with Kabab and Cold Drinks. Then we will take a BOAT RIDE from MANGLA RESORT to RAM KOT FORT. The fort was built by a Gakkhar, named Sultan Sarang Khan Ghakkar, in the 16th century. It is located on the edges of the Mangla Dam. Syed Aziz Badshah, a well-known politician of Dadyal associated with Khanyara Sharif, rescued the fort from the Sikhs with heavy weapons and named it Aziz Kot. The last known holder of the fort was Raja Allahdad Khan of Mirpur, Kashmir. He was a descendant of Raja Umar Khan and grandson of the last ruler of the Princely state of Khari Kharyali and Bhimber. Then MAT guests will move towards their last destination of the day which is ROHTAS FORT. Following his defeat of the Mughal emperor Humayun in 1541, Sher Shah Suri built a strong fortified complex at Rohtas, a strategic site in the north of what is now Pakistan. It was never taken by storm and has survived intact to the present day.
